Seashell Pendant

Seashells – the outer skeletons of marine mollusks – have fascinated humans since ancient times. Ancient societies used them as tools, currency, ornaments and spiritual objects. Shells were often made into jewelry and were known to eliminate negative energy.
Seashells connect us to the ocean, and to water energy. Water is the element that represents our emotions. By being in contact with seashells, we open and activate our intuition and sensitivity. This allows us to be able express our imagination, and our creativity. When we are able to express and share our emotions and ideas, we begin to heal ourselves and have a greater impact on others and the healing of the planetary family. Every species of sea creature has its own message for us that offers guidance for our lives.
Shells are gentle healers and messengers, and very powerful tools of transformation. Each seashell was created as its home by an individual animal who had their own package of DNA and their own consciousness. Each shell, therefore, has its own bundle of information to share with us. That information is waiting to be accessed whenever we hold a particular shell, or even just look at one in a photograph.

This special shell was found in the Ionian Sea, west of Greece. These waters are full of life, and the shells found in the Ionian are usually large, quirky, and colourful. We believe that each sea shell holds a little secret, and it may just pass it on to its admirer. 😉

This seashell has been cut to make a sophisticated pendant. It has rich cream earthy tones with natural texture and lines. It's been polished with a natural oil-based varnish to highlight the gorgeous tones and to create shine, and the edges have been decorated with bronze. The shell measures:
6cm long
2.6cm wide

This piece will be sent with an adjustable black cotton strap, so that the wearer can choose how they wish to wear the pendant.
