Copper Ankh Pendant

There are countless interpretations of this ancient Egyptian symbol, but it mainly depicts eternal life. The cross-like shape portrays a key of life, and it is often seen in ancient art in the possession of the gods. It determined the fate of the dead, particularly pharaohs, judging whether they were worthy of an afterlife or not.
For others the ankh symbolises the Roman goddess Venus, as the loop depicts the female womb. In astrology this symbol represents the planet Venus.
